Once Upon A Time...
a small town couple (Gary and Dawn Donson) who had a love for "big world coffee and community" went to be with their big town cousins (Chuck and Terri Shaffer) in the hills of Christiansburg, Virginia for Thanksgiving. Unbeknownst to the "small town" couple the "big town" cousins also had a love and passion for "coffee and community." (music kicks in.)
The big town cousins' say, "We have an idea, how about you the small town couple move to the hills of Virginia where we can make this... rock'en coffee world go round!" (sorry this small town person has moments where song lyrics just randomly appear) The BTC and STC stay up for hours... days... and just talk coffee, and drink coffee, and think of coffee house names. (scene changes sun up - sun down couples are strung out on caffeine) Rehab Coffee Company, "Therapy in a Cup," "Come to REHAB and get your fix." They laugh hysterically over that name. (that is the problem with to much caffeine and late hours you get a little crazy, you start resiting Sling Blade lines and doing the Pulp Fiction dance.) (Great movies by the way)
Next thing you know big town couple and the small town couple are going to Coffee Fest 2009 in Chicago as REHAB! Now, the coffee world was not ready for rehab, so the couples got cured from that name and moved on to...DEJA BREW. Great they think, but it seemed that the name was TOO FAMILIAR!!!
