CAFFEINE IS YOUR FRIEND!

If you enter a coffeehouse or teahouse you have to love (or at least appreciate) caffeine. Not all of the drinks at Lucie Monroe's are caffeinated. but most of them are.

For a period of time it was thought that caffeine contributed to heart disease, high blood pressure, miscarriage, and many other medical problems. Recently with more rigorous testing and better methods The American Medical Association stated, “Moderate tea or coffee drinkers probably need have no concern for their health relative to their caffeine consumption provided other lifestyle habits (diet, alcohol consumption) are moderate, as well.” Out of all the studies done there has been no evidence that serious health problems come as a result of drinking coffee or having caffeine in your diet. It is recommended that your caffeine intake is no more than 300mg per day. That’s about three cups of drip-brewed coffee per day.
So, drink up!
